Guidance for the week ahead

Eat well
Plan your meals ahead of time so you won’t be tempted to grab the first thing to hand when you’re hungry

Don’t reach for the bottle
Drinking alcohol regularly of an evening isn’t a ”reward” or something to help you “unwind”. It’s a damaging habit to get into. Be continental… eat with food

Smile at a stranger
You don’t know what their story is and your smile could make a total difference to their day

Tech-break
If you can, try and put your phone, tablet or other electronic device away from 8pm and just enjoy the rest of the evening tech-free

Set reasonable expectations for your days
Don’t beat yourself up if you don’t achieve what you want to in a day… Rome wasn’t build in one

Put some food out for our feathered friends
When it’s cold to us it’s cold to them except they have to continually fly around in search of food. So why not put out bread crumbs, bacon fat, coconut pieces for them. Even if you live in a flat there are bird feeders that stick on the window.

Be kind to a homeless person
There are more and more rough sleepers these days so why not spend that cash you were going to us on a latte, to get a Meal Deal and donate it to a homeless person. Remember ours is not to judge why they are where they are…

Cook from scratch
Forget the Just Eat app or the local chippy. Get the ingredients, make time and cook from scratch. If you have a slow cooker you can bung it all in before you leave for work and when you get home voila food!!!!

Be happy
Emit those happy positive vibes and see how others react. If you’re happy other people around you will be too.

Thank you for listening and have an amazing week.
