How to make your home healthy…

I’m really conscious about making sure my home is a healthy place to live. I’m not talking about the usual vacuuming, mopping and dusting, that goes without saying. No I’m talking about making the environment reallly healthy – which is a must when you have three doggies and two cat fur babies living with you like we do!

img_5382-1Essential Oil Defuser – I got mine from Amazon for £19.99, but they are available in various places eBay and Argos to name two. They are brilliant to help you unwind and de-stress. The humidity it creates it perfect if your suffering with a cold!

Method cleaning products – £3 from most big supermarkets. My fave is the anti-bac multi surface cleaner in Rhubarb. It makes any place your using it smell amazingly delightful. The best bit for me is that it’s not harmful to the environment and hasn’t been tested on animals; yay!

img_5384-1Water filtered jug – £12.00. I couldn’t imagine my kitchen without my water filter. I used to spend heaps on mineral and bottled water before I got mine. The impurities from tap water are reduced by using it meaning that drinking water, brewing tea and coffee etc. taste a MILLION times better!

img_1071-1Houseplants – various prices from garden centres and DIY stores. According to the Royal Horticultural Society houseplants not only look good, they are known to support human health in homes. They improve air quality by trapping and capturing pollutants, help us to breathe more easily. They also provide a wide range of mental and physical health benefits. So why not go green or purple or pink or white…

Support your own wellbeing by creating a healthy home environment!
